Allele Frequency Distribution for Nine Fluorescent Based STR Loci in Tamil Population (South India)

Abstract

Blood samples were collected from unrelated Tamil-speaking volunteers. DNA was extracted by the salting out procedure (1). DNA typing was by PCR using 2.5 ng target DNA following manufacturer's instructions (AmpFlSTR — Profiler Plus PCR Amplification Kit — Perkin Elmer). Data were analyzed as per the methods already reported (2–4).
