“…In combination with the donor D4 , the A3 ‐based PSC device afforded a PCE of 1.74 %, which are slightly higher than the A2 ‐based one. Zhao and co‐workers synthesized the PDI‐based copolymers A4 , A6 , A12 , and A13 containing thiophene, selenophene, dithiophene (DiTh), and thienothiophene (TT), respectively . The stronger electron‐donating groups dithiophene or thienothiophene raised the HOMO energy levels and narrowed the optical band gaps.…”

“…It was noted that the molecular weights were considerably higher than those of the previously reported PDIand NDP-derived polymers (mostly around 10−20 kDa). 28,29,34,36,46,47 We speculate that the "butterfly"-shaped conformation of PTP unit and the long α-branched side chains both brought about favorable effects on solubility and suppressed the aggregation of polymerizing intermediates (i.e., the oligomers), which facilitated the high polymer formation. The thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) results revealed that both PTP-Th and PTP-TT possessed excellent thermal stability, with a decomposition temperature (T d ) of 380 and 378 °C (with 5% weight loss), respectively (Figure S1).…”

“…The corresponding photovoltaic parameters are summarized in Table 1 . Furthermore, the device performance of analogue polymers of PPDI‐2T and PDTCDI are also listed in Table for comparison. As presented in Table , PBDB‐T:PTDI‐T based device gave a PCE of 2.89% with a high V OC of 1.03 V, a short‐circuit current density (J SC ) of 5.97 mA cm −2 and a fill factor (FF) of 0.47.…”
