“…These diversities in graphene enable efficient modulation of interfacial adhesion and enhance its compatibility with number of polymers [12], [13], [14], [15], [16], [17], [18], [19] such as polyaniline, polylactic acid, polycaprolactone, PEG etc. In general, graphene production methods can be categorized as two a) bottom-up methods (e.g.…”

“…Ramazani et al [25] studied the effect of the oxidation level of GO on the physical properties of GO/PCL electrospun fibers. With an increase in the GO concentration to 3 wt% GO, the diameter of the fibers decreased [25,37] Ramazani et al [37] also prepared aligned GO/PCL nanofibers and with the addition of upto 1 wt% GO nanosheets, a very significant rise in the tensile strength and elastic modulus was observed. This result was attributed to hydrogen bonding, CH2-π, and van der Waals forces between PCL chains and nanosheets.…”

“…Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)/pristine graphene fibers prepared by electrospinning, using an aqueous solution of polyvinylpyrrolidone to stabilize the graphene dispersion, demonstrated extraordinary enhancements in modulus (Das et al, 2013). Improved mechanical performance was also obtained for polycaprolactone (PCL)/graphene oxide (GO) and PCL/reduced GO (rGO) electrospun nanofibers in which orientation played an important role (Ramazani and Karimi, 2015). Conducting nanofibers of polyaniline/polyethylene oxide with non-covalently functionalized graphene, also fabricated by electrospinning exhibited two orders of magnitude enhancement in electrical conductivity (Moayeri and Ajji, 2015).…”
