Alianza entre las universidades del Corredor Bioceánico y los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible

Abstract

Las universidades e instituciones de educación superior, pueden encontrar situaciones favorables para el logro de estados de sinergia con todos los sectores de la sociedad. Esta posibilidad se ve facilitada por la naturaleza integradora de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS), de la Agenda 2030 de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (ONU). Se cuentan con ejemplos a nivel mundial de alianzas universitarias, en las que se busca un compromiso con la Agenda 2030 de la ONU. La alianza entre las instituciones de educación superior que integran la La Red Universitaria de la Ruta de Integración Latinoamericana (UNIRILA), puede contribuir significativamente al logro de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible, tanto en los países que integran el Corredor Bioceánico, como en cada una de sus localidades o comunidades. Además, las instituciones que integran la UNIRILA pueden liderar a nivel regional, la Red de Soluciones de Desarrollo Sostenibles (SDSN).
