Alexithymia in Chronic Bronchitis/Emphysema: Personality Characteristics and Illness Attitudes

Abstract: Personality characteristics and illness attitudes of alexithymic and nonalexithymic chronic bronchitis/emphysema patients were assessed using the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) along with supplementary scales and the Respiratory Illness Opinion Survey (RIOS).
