“…The determination of aldehyde content is an important parameter because an increased aldehyde content on storage may result in the interaction with electron-rich biological macromolecules and induce adverse health effects like toxicity, allergic reactions, mutagenicity, and carcinogenicity. [36,37] The aldehyde content of ADA 4°C and ADA À 20°C was estimated by hydroxylamine hydrochloride titration at 1 M, 3 M and 6 M. The aldehyde content of ADA at the time of storage was 40.1 � 1.4 %.
