Alcohol use in late adolescence and early adulthood: The role of generalized anxiety disorder and drinking to cope motives

Abstract: HighlightsGeneralized anxiety is positively associated with alcohol use in adolescence.In early adulthood, associations remain for harmful drinking only.Associations are not moderated by drinking to cope motives.
