Alcohol Consumption and Periodontitis: Quantification of Periodontal Pathogens and Cytokines

Abstract: A negative influence of alcohol consumption was observed on clinical and microbiologic periodontal parameters, as well as a slight influence on immunologic parameters, signaling the need for additional studies.
