Alcaloïdes bisbenzylisoquinoléiques de Albertisia cf. A. papuana

Abstract: Four new bisbenzylisoquinoline alkaloids were obtained from Albertisia cf. A. papuana Becc. (Menispermaceae). These are (−)-2,2′-bisnorphaeanthine (5), (+)-pangkoramine (7), (+)-pangkorimine (9), and (+)-2′-norcocsuline (14). They are accompanied by the known (+)-daphnoline (2), which is the main alkaloid, and by seven known dimers with one, two, or three ether bridges.

“…The present study on the ethanolic extracts of Cocculus pendulus has resulted in the isolation and characterisation of a new (1), along with five known, compounds (2-6) (Hussain et al, 1984;Guinaudeau et al, 1987;Lavault et al, 1987;Guinaudeau, Lin, Cordell, & Ruangrungsi, 1998).…”

“…The known compounds, kohatine (2), apateline (3), kurramine (4), 1,2-dehydrokohatine (5) and 14-hydroxyisostephodeline (6) have also been isolated from this plant and identified by comparison of their spectral data with the literature values (Hussain et al, 1984;Guinaudeau et al, 1987;Lavault et al, 1987;Guinaudeau et al, 1998).…”

“…The configurations at C‐1 and C‐1' were assigned as anti because the signal of H‐10 appeared as a broad singlet at δ H 6.52 . The structure of compound 3 was assigned as (+)‐2'‐norcocsuline by comparison of its optical rotation value with the reported data for (+)‐2'‐norcocsuline and (+)‐cocsuline ( 7 ) . The complete structure was confirmed by single crystal X‐ray crystallography analysis, and an anisotropic displacement ellipsoid drawing of 3 is shown in Figure .…”

“…In 1972, Schlittler and Weber [13] reported the isolation and structure characterization of the four BBIQ alkaloids stebisimine (1), (+)-2'norcocsuline (3), trilobine (5), and (À)-epistephanine (6) from A. grandidieri, whereas (+)-1,2-dehydrotelobine (2) was first isolated from Daphnandra apatela in 1978. [14] Because of the lack of full NMR spectroscopic data in previous reports, we describe herein the NMR assignments of all carbons and protons of stebisimine (1), [13,15] (+)-1,2-dehydrotelobine (2), [14] and (+)-2'-norcocsuline (3) [13,16] (Fig. 1).…”

“…Three known bisbenzylisoquinoline alkaloids; cycleanine (25 g) (Scheinman et al, 1980;Cavé et al, 1979; 1991), cocsoline (2 g) (Lavault and Bruneton, 1987;Fazal and Khan, 1984), and N-desmethylcycleanine (2 g) (Bhakuni and Gupta, 1982) have been identified (Fig. 1).…”
