Albuterol delivery via metered dose inhaler in a spontaneously breathing pediatric tracheostomy model

Abstract: Aerotrach Plus and the adapter were the most and least efficient devices respectively. Tracheostomy size and breathing pattern affected drug delivery. The use of assisted technique reduced aerosol delivery.
