“…As mentioned before, curcumin has low bioavailability due to its water insolubility. Although it dissolves in polar organic solvents [ 63 , 64 , 65 ], the presence of organic solvents causes biopolymers to precipitate if we try to encapsulate curcumin in hydrogel films.
