Albert Einstein and Friedrich Dessauer: Political Views and Political Practice

Abstract: In this case study I compare the political views of the physicists Albert Einstein and Friedrich Dessauer between the first and second world wars, and I investigate their translation into concrete political practice. Both departed from their roles as experts in physics in favor of political engagement.
