Abstract: Andrew Hodges schreibt in seiner Biografie [9], dass Alan Turing deutsche Texte lesen konnte; so erhielt er auf seinen Wunsch J. v. Neumanns Mathematische Grundlagen der Quantendynamik als Auszeichnung seiner Schule noch vor Beginn des Studiums.
