ALA-PpIX mediated photodynamic therapy of malignant gliomas augmented by hypothermia

Abstract: BackgroundMalignant gliomas are highly invasive, difficult to treat, and account for 2% of cancer deaths worldwide. Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) comprises the most common and aggressive intracranial tumor.
