Air Traffic Controller Workload Detection Based on EEG Signals

Abstract: The assessment of the cognitive workload experienced by air traffic controllers is a complex and prominent issue in the research community. This study introduces new indicators related to gamma waves to detect controllers’ workload and develops experimental protocols to capture their EEG data and NASA-TXL data.
