“…In biomass burning, particularly coal usage for indoor space heating, excessive PM is emitted into the atmosphere. At the same time, outdoor air pollution issues have been well-documented, showing that PM 2.5 concentrations frequently reach hazardous levels exceeding 500 µg/m 3 in the winter (Nishikawa et al, 2015;Ganbat et al, 2020;Ariunsaikhan et al, 2022), especially in ger areas (places where households live in either the traditional yurt or detached houses with insu cient infrastructure).
