Air-Filled Ultrasound Contrast Agents Do Not Damage the Cerebral Microvasculature or Brain Tissue in Rats

Abstract: This study indicates that ultrasound contrast media composed of air microspheres do not cause lesions of the brain microvasculature or parenchyma.
