With regards to epidemiology, ainhum is an extremely rare dermatological disease with prevalence rates reported at 2.2% [1], 0.2% [7] and 0.015% [8] in Nigeria, Congo, and Panama, respectively. It has rarely been reported in Europe and Asia [3].…”
