This study explores the necessity and direction of safety regulations for Artificial Intelligence (AI), drawing parallels from the regulatory practices of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for nuclear safety. The rapid advancement and global proliferation of AI technologies necessitate the establishment of standardized safety norms to minimize discrepancies between national regulations and enhance the consistency and effectiveness of these rules. The study emphasizes the importance of international collaboration and the engagement of various stakeholders to strengthen the appropriateness of regulations and ensure their continuous updating in response to the evolving risks associated with technological advancements. The paper highlights the critical role of subgoal setting mechanisms in AI’s decision-making processes, underscoring their significance in ensuring the technology’s stability and social acceptability. Improperly tuned subgoal setting mechanisms may lead to outcomes that conflict with human intentions, posing risks to users and society at large. The study draws attention to the hidden risks often embedded within AI’s core decision-making mechanisms and advocates for regulatory approaches to guarantee safe and predictable AI operations. Furthermore, the study acknowledges the limitations of directly applying IAEA’s nuclear safety cases to AI due to the distinct characteristics and risks of the two fields. The paper calls for future research to delve deeper into the need for an independent regulatory framework tailored to AI’s unique features. Additionally, the study emphasizes the importance of accelerating international consensus, developing flexible regulatory models that reflect the situation in each country, exploring harmonization with existing regulations, and researching timely regulatory responses to the fast-paced development of AI technology.

Artificial Intelligence (AI), is one of the key innovations created by Information System (IS) in the 21st century. The technology operates on an interconnected network which facilitates marketing decisions. AI role in marketing is quite enormous, as customers’ needs and wants are efficiently met, with customers satisfied and employees sustainably engaged, towards future relationship with the firm. In-spite of its proficient value addition, there are outstanding issues which firms’ employee are dissatisfied with the deployment of AIM, in organizational operations, these includes; the skill gap, resistance to change, and job security threat. The study examines various studies form (journals, books and e-repositories) on AI adoption, firms’ operational activities, and perceived job threat by personnel, saddled with responsibilities of implementing AIM. studies selected was between 2012-2023, the theoretical framework attempts to fill existing gap in literature on customer satisfaction and job threat to personnel, due to AIM deployment. Qualitative research methodology was adopted using in in-depth interviews through focus groups (Management, employee, and AI Technicians), Systematic Literature Review (SLR) will also be adopted to analyze the variables of the construct. The study findings show that there is significant relationship between AI Marketing and customers satisfaction, based on effective engagement of firms’ personnel saddled with the responsibility of deploying AIM in the organization. The implication of the study will be increase labor turnover, for employee without required AI set skills, and apprehension if customers are not satisfied. Future research should examine employee reaction in other functional areas of business, where AI id deployed.

Artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots have gained prominence since 2022. Powered by big data, natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning (ML) algorithms, they offer the potential to expand capabilities, improve productivity and provide guidance and support in various domains. Human–Artificial Intelligence (HAI) is proposed to help with the integration of human values, empathy and ethical considerations into AI in order to address the limitations of AI chatbots and enhance their effectiveness. Mental health is a critical global concern, with a substantial impact on individuals, communities and economies. Digital mental health solutions, leveraging AI and ML, have emerged to address the challenges of access, stigma and cost in mental health care. Despite their potential, ethical and legal implications surrounding these technologies remain uncertain. This narrative literature review explores the potential of AI chatbots to revolutionize digital mental health while emphasizing the need for ethical, responsible and trustworthy AI algorithms. The review is guided by three key research questions: the impact of AI chatbots on technology integration, the balance between benefits and harms, and the mitigation of bias and prejudice in AI applications. Methodologically, the review involves extensive database and search engine searches, utilizing keywords related to AI chatbots and digital mental health. Peer-reviewed journal articles and media sources were purposively selected to address the research questions, resulting in a comprehensive analysis of the current state of knowledge on this evolving topic. In conclusion, AI chatbots hold promise in transforming digital mental health but must navigate complex ethical and practical challenges. The integration of HAI principles, responsible regulation and scoping reviews are crucial to maximizing their benefits while minimizing potential risks. Collaborative approaches and modern educational solutions may enhance responsible use and mitigate biases in AI applications, ensuring a more inclusive and effective digital mental health landscape.
