“…There are 86 edible wild species belonging to Boletales, which are consumed by members of the native ethnic groups in Mexico. In recent years, several new edible species have also been described, e.g., Xerocomellus perezmorenoi Ayala-Vasquez and M. Martinez-Reyes [48] and Xerocomellus piedracanteadensis Ayala-Vasquez, Perez-Moreno J., and Martínez-Reyes M. [52].
