Reviewing the existing literature is the preliminary stage of any research work. In the recent times, researchers have enormous sources to gather literature data related to their research topics, particularly from online journals, directories, and databases. The online sources such as Scopus, Google Scholar, and Web of Science facilitate the researchers to know the updates and current state of the research domains. In traditional methods, a researcher had to collect the related research works, review them, code the information and present them in a narrative manner to specify the research gap in the existing studies. Presentation of a review of earlier studies is not a mere summary of description of earlier studies; it provides critical arguments on hypotheses to be considered and suitable methodology to investigate the topic, list of variables to be investigated, and so on. However, if one considers a huge volume of earlier studies, consolidating the information available in them is not an easy task. Critically exploring the hidden information and patterns in the existing studies, developing a visual/graphical representation of information from the data, and summarizing information through suitable metrics are gray areas in reviewing the existing studies. To overcome these issues, the study attempts to use principles from Graph Theory and proposes a new methodological approach to do the review of literature. Domains such as Sociology and Psychology have recognized the usefulness of Graph Theory, a branch of Mathematics and applied the principles to social network analysis (SNA). SNA adapts metrics such as degree centrality, closeness centrality, betweenness centrality, eigenvector centrality, cluster analysis, and modularity to identify the influential actors (nodes)/persons in the social networks. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas mangga yang diminta oleh pasar, baik pasar lokal, nasional, dan internasional, berbeda dengan kualitas mangga yang dihasilkan oleh petani mangga dan yang dijual oleh pedagang buah mangga. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dirancang untuk melakukan penyesuaian kualitas mangga dengan permintaan pasar, sehingga dapat menciptakan transaksi yang menguntungkan pihak penjual (produsen dan pedagang) dan pihak pembeli (pedagang dan konsumen) serta pihak terkait lainnya. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan perbedaan antara kualitas mangga yang ada di tingkat produsen dan pedagang dengan kualiats mangga yang diinginkan pedagang dan konsumen maka dilakukan kegiatan penyuluhan dengan metode ceramah, praktik, dan diskusi tentang hal-hal yang terkait dengan mutu mangga guna memenuhi permintaan pedagang dan konsumen mangga. Untuk mencapai mutu mangga yang baik maka penanganan mangga dilakukan pada semua tahapan yang berpengaruh terhadap kualitas buah mangga, sejak tahapan produksi, pemeliharaan tanaman, panen, pasca panen, transportasi dan pemasaran buah mangga. Evaluasi terhadap kegiatan menunjukkan hasil positif berupa peningkatan pengetahuan dan motivasi untuk mengubah keadaan dalam agribisnis mangga dengan fokus untuk penyesuaian kualitas atau karakteristik mangga yang diproduksi terhadap mangga yang dikonsumsi.

Cocoa is one of the plantation commodities whose role is quite important for the national economy of Indonesia. However, the cocoa industry faces several problems including the various risks involved in the cocoa supply chain. The aim of this study were: 1) Identifying risks in the cocoa supply chain 2) Analyzing the members of the supply chain with the highest risk 3) Evaluating and mitigating cocoa supply chain risks effectively and efficiently. An integrated analytic network process (ANP) and weighted failure mode effect analysis (WFMEA) method will be used to determine and analyze the highest risk in the cocoa supply chain. The results of the priority of the members of the value chain in the cocoa supply chain risk management are SMEs (0.43801), with the risk having the highest priority is production risk (0.29262) as well as alternative strategic priorities namely by increasing income (0.28754). The results of risk control are mainly focused on efforts to increase the income of cocoa farmers by utilizing cocoa processing byproducts such as cocoa bean pulp and cocoa pod husks. The cocoa bean pulp can be processed into nata products and cocoa juice, while the cocoa pod skin can be used as fertilizer.
