Aging Trend and Pattern in Nepal

Abstract: Population aging is taking place rapidly in Nepal. The purpose of this article is to present the aging situation in Nepal. Data from different published sources are used in this article. There are 29.1 million older people in Nepal as of the 2021 census. The proportion of older people 60 years and older reached 10.12 percent of the total population.
