“…Nuri & Ali (2017) [28], Li Yi (2018) [29], Ren Yingli (2021) [30] and other scholars calculated the utility values of combining key elements like visual shapes, functional attributes and interactive experiences for the app interface design of smart wearable devices, analyzed the user preferences and proposed the corresponding design strategies: Preference research on brands, prices, certifications and other attributes of alternative grains [31], smoked cheeses [32], customized foods [33], fresh agricultural products [34], fashion designs [35], service optimizations [36] and other products are widely applied as well. In addition, the adoption of CAM also involves research on hotels [37], medical treatments [38] and the funeral industry [39].…”

“…The secured personal details were utilized for the descriptive and inferential statistics of this study, and (2) the Orthogonal Plan Cards were generated via SPSS software to create the orthogonal profiles. A meticulous literature review determined attributes and levels made up of choice bundles, to confirm whether the determinant attributes and their combination profiles are understandable to potential participants (Kim et al, 2016).The profile cards were prepared in two media forms to accommodate the data collection, either: (a) printed in 5"x7" photo-paper with a layout containing large fonts and images to capture each vignette scenario and (b) organized in a Microsoft© PowerPoint Presentation (.pptx) showing one choice bundle per ppt slide (Laguilles-Villafuerte & de Guzman, 2019). The choice bundles reflected in the orthogonal plan cards were presented in both English and Filipino translation for easy comprehension of the respondents.…”

“…The urn containing remains must also not be kept at home. Despite church acceptance of cremation and its relatively cheaper cost, interment is the commonly preferred burial practice among Filipinos, as established, for example, in a recent survey conducted in Bicol among aging adults [ 23 ]. Usual funerary rites often include holding a wake in the residence of the deceased, with the bereaved hosting novenas, nightly prayers, and offering mass for the dead for about three days, concluding with inhumation at a cemetery.…”
