It is exceedingly tough to write a book. Thankfully, I had people who encouraged, supported, and directed me; they made this experience more pleasant than I could have imagined. First and foremost, I am deeply indebted to my supervisor, Dr. Frank Dignum, many thanks to his invaluable advise, constant support, and patience during my PhD. Also, thanks for trusting in me and giving me the opportunity to work on this project. Your comprehensive perspective on various topics in this domain, along with your solid scientific memory and deep knowledge, has always fascinated me. When you accepted the job offer in Sweden, I panicked and I thought I lost your supervision and cannot finish my PhD. I was certainly wrong and I have been supportive till the last moment of finishing this thesis. I could not have finish it without your constant help and kind support. It has been an honor working under your supervision. I would like to take this chance to thank Prof. dr. John-Jules Meyer for his generous support prior to his retirement. My gratitude extends to Prof. dr. Pinar Yolum Birbil who has been my supervisor in the last step.
