Agent-Based Modelling and Simulation System for Mass Violence Event

Abstract: This paper introduces a new method for analyzing Mass Violence Events, and then we make use of Intelligent Artificial and Agent-Based System to deal with them. In the meanwhile, we describe and defy three kinds of agents (cops, activists and civilians), what comes next is that we apply these theories to model and simulate such events. The simulation results show that the behaviors of activists can easily affect whether civilians will join into Mass Violence Events, if they attend events, it will lead cops to f… Show more

“…At present, scholars have using computer modeling to simulate mass incidents, Bruce Bassi simulates the crowd dynamics and violence [2], Jager simulates the concentration and conflict phenomena of two populations [3], some researchers in china study the law of mass events participants' behavior using artificial intelligence methods [4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11]. But for the research of mass incidents with venting anger, if we ignore the individual emotional characteristics, simply set the rules of individual conduct, the result dose not fully reflect the characteristics and laws of mass incidents with venting anger.…”
