Agent-based cloud service negotiation architecture using similarity grouping approach

Abstract: Challenges and issues in the field of cloud service negotiation framework optimization have been an active area of research. During service level agreement, the probability of negotiation conflict between the service consumers and providers is high. This may arise due to aggressive behavior, selfish misperception, vague preferences and uncertain goals of the negotiating participants. One of the key challenges identified in negotiation framework is optimizing the negotiation conflict among the negotiators. In o… Show more

“…Therefore, the proposed healthcare system outperforms the existing healthcare due to improvements made by the proposed classifier, additive homomorphic encryption and energy & delay aware offloading schemes. In the future, the research study can be enhanced with an automated negotiation framework [34,35] for extending the healthcare capabilities to external entities. In addition, the research can be extended to intelligent video surveillance systems using fog or edge computing capability [36][37][38].…”

“…To assess the performance of the proposed classifier model against the existing classifiers, a benchmarking dataset is taken from the inertial sensor database [34,35]. It consists of forty-five persons, equally classified into control, Parkinson and geriatric persons with characteristics as given in Table 1.…”

“…It is negotiating between both parties, on-demand of resources, pricing, availability, and other factors, to establish final agreements between the CSP and the consumer [20]. There is a significant void in negotiating a standing service SLA, which neither specifies the duties incumbent upon CSPs if a malicious incident occurs [7,22,23].…”
