Abstract:Primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD) is a genetic disorder causing motile ciliary dysfunction primarily affecting the respiratory and reproductive systems. However, the impact of PCD on the central nervous system, through dysfunction of motile cilia in multiciliated ependymal cells, remains poorly understood.
