Ag18(SiO4)2(Si4O13), das erste Silbersilicat mit gemischten Anionen

Abstract: Das System Ag2O/SiO2 wurde bei dem Schnitt Ag : Si = 3 : 1 präparativ untersucht. Aus den binären Komponenten entsteht in einer Festkörperreaktion unter Sauerstoffdrucken > 0,2 GPa und im Temperaturbereich von 560–580°C Ag6Si2O7(II) als offensichtlich thermodynamisch stabile Phase. Bei Zusatz von konz. NH3 bildet sich zwischen 500 und 550°C Ag6Si2O7(I) und unterhalb 470°C (Ag4SiO4)2 · Ag10Si4O13. Analogous structural entities are known from silicate chemistry: in, for example, Ag 10 [Si 4 O 13 ] the catena- tetrasilicate anions occur in a trans or zigzag conformation, whereas in, for example, La 6 [Si 4 O 13 ]­[SiO 4 ]) 2 a cis or horseshoe conformation can be found.
