Abstract:Purpose
To evaluate the aerobic capacity by cardiopulmonary exercise test (CPET) in children and adolescents with sickle cell disease in comparison with healthy matched controls and to determine the factors associated with impaired maximum oxygen uptake (VO2max) in this population.
