Abstract: Abstract2,4‐Dinitrotoluene (2,4‐DNT), a principal derivative generated in the synthesis of 2,4,6‐trinitrotoluene, is widely used as a waterproofer, plasticizer, and gelatinizer in propellants and explosives.
