Abstract:Our study presents a new occurrence and distribution record for Aegla lata in the state of Paraná, Brazil, specifically in the municipality of Rolândia. This finding, documented in October 2020 during the collection of benthic macroinvertebrates, highlights the crucial need for continuous monitoring and conservation efforts, especially in the face of evolving habitat changes in the region.
