Abstract:The authors, based on a large number of studies (including their own) regarding the toxic effects of heavy and radioactive metals on children of different ages and with varying degrees of chronic exposure to such metals, present the risks of developing somatic and genetic diseases. The main mechanisms of the influence of the radiation factor on the child’s body and the causes of the formation of radiation-induced diseases are shown.
