Abstract:Neonatal respiratory distress syndrome (NRDS) is caused by deficiency of pulmonary surfactant (PS) in premature infants generally. But it is associated with gestational age, birthweight, asphyxia, caesarean birth, infection, use dexamethasone to mother before delivery, diabetic mother and fetus intrauterine hypoxia.
