Advancing Molecular-Scale Logic Devices through Multistage Switching in a Luminescent Bimetallic Ru(II)-Terpyridine Complex

Abstract: Stimuli-responsive multistep switching phenomena of a luminescent bimetallic Ru(II) complex are employed herein to fabricate multiple configurable logic devices. The complex exhibits "off−on" and "on− off" emission switching upon alternative treatment with visible and UV light.
