Advances on the compositional analysis of glycosphingolipids combining thin-layer chromatography with mass spectrometry

Abstract: Glycosphingolipids (GSLs), composed of a hydrophilic carbohydrate chain and a lipophilic ceramide anchor, play pivotal roles in countless biological processes, including infectious diseases and the development of cancer.
