A alta competitividade da indústria atualmente faz com que a busca por modernização e melhoria nos processos passe a ser fundamental. A automação dos processos de soldagem oferece inúmeros benefícios para empresas, passando por maior produtividade e consistência de solda até custos mais baixos para produção, mão de obra e materiais, segurança e qualidade. A Indústria 4.0 propõe deixar a indústria ainda mais automatizada, de forma que as máquinas dotadas de sensores conseguirão se comunicar entre si e assim tornar o processo ainda mais eficiente e permite um acompanhamento em tempo real do que ocorre no processo de soldagem, proporcionando também que a máquina ou robô seja o inspetor de qualidade do processo. Diante disso, percebe-se que surgem barreiras para que os projetos de soldagem automatizada não atinjam o resultado esperado devido a fares internos e externos. Um modelo de maturidade é uma forma para avaliar o quão hábil uma empresa é para gerenciar e implementar seus projetos, isso significa que ele possibilita a identificação do nível da maturidade e, assim, ajuda a empresa a definir o melhor caminho para que o sucesso pleno do projeto seja alcançado. Entre todos os modelos que ajudam na avaliação da maturidade, o CMM pode ser considerado como o seu primogênito. Existem várias formas de se validar um modelo de maturidade, entre elas a proposta neste artigo, por meio da avaliação de especialistas da área de soldagem robotizada e utilizadores dos sistemas. A validação deste modelo obteve êxito pois conforme proposto todas as médias das notas obtidas ficaram acima de 3. Como principal resultado, este trabalho apresenta um modelo de maturidade focado a células de soldagem robotizada, o que representa uma lacuna na literatura existente.

A Novel 3D Seam Extraction Method Based on Multi-Functional Sensor for V-Type Weld Seam

To meet the current flexible modern manufacturing mode, based on the idea from coarse to fine, a novel three-dimensional(3D) seam extraction algorithm is proposed in this paper which includes the global rough extraction and the local fine positioning. Firstly, a multi-functional vision system based on Digital Light Processing(DLP) projector is designed to adapt different 3D measurement tasks. Secondly, a global sensor based on DLP projector is constructed which is used to acquire the whole weld seam. Meanwhile, a new feature extraction algorithm based on 3D information of work pieces is proposed. Thirdly, a line structured light sensor based on DLP projector is to serve as local sensor. Based on the results of rough extraction, the close-range laser scanning is to improve the measurement precision. Finally, the 3D path model and pose estimation of weld seam are done which could be applied into the 3D path teaching of welding robots. The experiments show that the proposed algorithm could well finish the high-precision 3D seam path planning through the ''Global-Local'' method.

To solve the problems of low teaching programming efficiency and poor flexibility in robot welding of complex box girder structures, a method of seam trajectory recognition based on laser scanning displacement sensing was proposed for automated guidance of a welding torch in the skip welding of a spatially intermittent welding seam. Firstly, a laser scanning displacement sensing system for measuring angles adaptively is developed to detect corner features of complex structures. Secondly, a weld trajectory recognition algorithm based on Euclidean distance discrimination is proposed. The algorithm extracts the shape features by constructing the characteristic triangle of the weld trajectory, and then processes the set of shape features by discrete Fourier analysis to solve the feature vector used to describe the shape. Finally, based on the Euclidean distance between the feature vector of the test sample and the class matching library, the class to which the sample belongs is identified to distinguish the weld trajectory. The experimental results show that the classification accuracy rate of four typical spatial discontinuous welds in complex box girder structure is 100%. The overall processing time for weld trajectory detection and classification does not exceed 65 ms. Based on this method, the field test was completed in the folding special container production line. The results show that the system proposed in this paper can accurately identify discontinuous welds during high-speed metal active gas arc welding (MAG) welding with a welding speed of 1.2 m/min, and guide the welding torch to automatically complete the skip welding, which greatly improves the welding manufacturing efficiency and quality stability in the processing of complex box girder components. This method does not require a time-consuming pre-welding teaching programming and visual inspection system calibration, and provides a new technical approach for highly efficient and flexible welding manufacturing of discontinuous welding seams of complex structures, which is expected to be applied to the welding manufacturing of core components in heavy and large industries such as port cranes, large logistics transportation equipment, and rail transit.
