Advances in Catalysis for Organic Coatings

Abstract: The industrial coating market is undergoing substantial changes. These changes are driven predominately by environmental regulations. The reduction in organic solvent content and the elimination of certain heavy metals and toxic compounds in industrial coatings are major priorities. The development of powder, waterborne, high solids or solvent-free coatings also requires catalyst systems with different reaction profiles.
