Abstract:The paper deals with the processes that arise when sealing valve contact surfaces. A mathematical model of elastic contact is proposed that allows solving the problem of deformation of contacting surfaces with allowance for their rigidity by solving a system of linear equations and using the finite element method. To solve the problems of diagnosing and investigating the tightness of contact surfaces, a control and measuring system based on digital speckle interferometry with a continuous laser is proposed.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
