Advanced maxillofacial imaging for temporomandibular disorder in special needs patients

Abstract: Temporomandibular disorder (TMD) is prevalent in special needs patients. Clinical examination of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) complex and imaging in this patient population can be challenging due to patient disposition and cooperation.
