Abstract: Advanced glycation end products (AGEs) are risk factors for various diseases, including sarcopenia. One of the deleterious effects of AGEs is the induction of abnormal reactive oxygen species (ROS) production in skeletal muscle. However, the underlying mechanism remains poorly understood.
