Abstract:Cardiopulmonary arrest during pregnancy is a rare occurrence. Approximately 10% of maternal deaths are attributed to cardiopulmonary arrest. The AHA guideline advises manually placing the uterus in the left lateral position during pregnant resuscitation and perimortem cesarean section.
