“…The synthesis of MOF‐ZBB sorbent was carried out by using a simple hydrothermal method, according to Chang et al's study. [ 20 ] Briefly, benzimidazole (11.8 mg), Zn (OAc) 2 .3H 2 O (21.9 mg), 10 ml of double‐distilled water, 16.6 mg of H 2 bdc, and 0.5 ml of sodium hydroxide (0.2 M) solution were mixed thoroughly for 35 min, then added into an autoclave flask and maintained at 250°C for 72 h. Subsequently, at the cooling rate of 2.5°C min −1 , the resulting solution was maintained at room temperature for 7 days.
