Abstract: Ordered mesoporous carbon (OMC), a new member of carbonaceous family, has been able to attract substantial attention due to its unique attributes which are high Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) surface area, narrow pore size distribution, large pore volume and thermal stability.
