“…Several mechanisms have been reported to explain the adsorption of TZ dye (Ali et al, 2022;Arabzadeh et al, 2014;Hu et al, 2017). The proposed interactions between the TZ molecules dye and the BC@MgO NPs are schematized in Fig.…”

“…The scale up equations using the BDST model to describe adsorption in continuous fixed‐bed columns were used by several authors. Han et al [ 36 ] worked on methylene blue removal from aqueous solution using phoenix tree leaf powder as an adsorbent; Aslam et al [ 51 ] applied similar equations for the removal of hexavalent chromium by encapsulated Ch‐modified magnetic carbon nanotube in fixed‐bed columns, as did Ali et al [ 69 ] for the adsorption of tartrazine by fixed bed core‐shell‐polystyrene divinylbenzene/magnetite nanocomposite. In addition, López‐Cervantes et al [ 39 ] indicated that the BDST model showed good agreement with the experimental data for the removal of azo dye (Direct Blue 71) using Ch‐glutaraldehyde hydrogles.…”

“…However, in the 6th cycle, the uptake ability of NZC- g -PANI was further reduced, and equilibrium adsorption efficiencies of 90.4 and 88.7% were observed for BG and MO, respectively. This might be explained by the fact that the regeneration process may result in the diminution of binding sites on NZC- g -PANI, leaving some BG/MO dye moieties in the regenerated NZC- g -PANI biosorbent . Consequently, the decrease in the uptake capacity of NZC- g -PANI is considerable, manifesting excellent reusability and outstanding regeneration behavior.…”
