Abstract:Chromium is released by process industries and natural activities into water bodies. The compounds are highly toxic and possess harmful effects on human beings and aquatic life. A low‐cost agricultural biomass waste (sugarcane bagasse)‐derived sorbent was utilized for enhanced Cr(VI) removal from aqueous solutions, applying hybrid differential evolutionary optimization for isotherm/kinetic models and a multivariable quadratic technique for sorption process optimization. To improve the sorption efficacy, a nove… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
