Abstract: Modification of the surface of adsorbents changes their adsorption and chromatographic properties.Polymeric adsorbents obtained by modifying styrene-divinylbenzene, polystyrene, and methacrylate matrices with amines, amine alcohols, and sulfuric acid as well as salt-based ionic adsorbents (chlorides and sulfates of bivalent metals) have been studied.
