AdS5 black strings in the stu model of FI-gauged N = 2 supergravity

Abstract: We analytically construct asymptotically AdS 5 black string solutions starting from the four-dimensional domain wall black hole of [1]. It is shown that its uplift gives a black string in d = 5 minimal gauged supergravity, with momentum along the string. Applying instead the residual symmetries of N = 2, d = 4 Fayet-Iliopoulosgauged supergravity discovered in [2] to the domain wall seed leads, after uplifting, to a dyonic black string that interpolates between AdS 5 and AdS 3 × H 2 at the horizon. A Kaluza-Kle… Show more

“…Similarly, 2 will be given by a two-sphere (S 2 ) and a twodimensional hyperbolic space (H 2 ), or a Riemann surface of genus g > 1. Similar solutions have previously been found in minimal and maximal gauged supergravities, see for example [24][25][26][27][28][29][30][31][32]. This type of solutions has also appeared in pure N = 4 gauged supergravity in [33], and recently, half-supersymmetric black strings with hyperbolic horizons have been found in matter-coupled N = 4 gauged supergravity with compact U (1) × SU (2) × SU (2) and non-compact U (1) × SO(3, 1) gauge groups [34].…”

“…It would be moreover interesting to compute the renormalized on-shell action of these solutions, and elucidate the holographic mapping of the fugacities. Another interesting direction would be to use the general form of the four-dimensional solution presented here to generate rotating five-dimensional black string solutions [37], via the uplift procedure along the lines of [38][39][40]. We hope to come back to these points in the near future.…”
