ADRC and Feedforward Hybrid Control System of PMSM

Abstract: The permanent-magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is a complex controlled object that is difficult to drive and control. In this study, the vector control strategy is adopted to drive the PMSM. The active disturbance rejection controller is used to achieve the closed-loop control of PMSM, which simplifies the computational complexity. A load torque observer and feedforward compensation component are designed to overcome the PMSM speed fluctuation of the load disturbance. An experimental system based on the DSP boa… Show more

“…CVSPI control is compared with the conventional PI controller, anti-windup PI (AWPI) controller proposed in the literature [27], active disturbance rejection controller (ADRC) proposed in the literature [20], and Super-twisting algorithm (STA) proposed in the literature [25] to verify the advantages of the system speed tracking response performance under CVSPI control. nw under five-speed controllers given by sinusoidal speed is shown in Figures 8a and 8c, and the error of nr vs. nw is shown in Figures 8b and 8d.…”

“…However, MPC is complicated in calculation, and the real-time performance of the algorithm has been challenged [55]. As another promising option, active disturbance rejective control (ADRC) [56,57] is a kind of lightweight calculation with a simple design and anti-interference strategy. The first discussion of ADRCs was presented by Han [58] and was elaborated upon by Han et al [59,60].…”
