Abstract:BackgroundMyocardial strain is a promising marker for the detection of early left or right ventricular (LV or RV) dysfunction in pediatric populations. The reference standard for MR strain measurement is myocardial tagging (MT); however, MT has limited clinical utility because the additional acquisitions needed are time‐consuming. In contrast, MR‐feature tracking (FT) allows strain quantification from routinely acquired cine sequences. Studies providing reference values obtained with both FT and MT for adolesc… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
