Within a year, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" East Java could hold dozens of conferences at the national or international level. A conference is a business event that prioritizes both internal communication and external communication. Several complaints regarding the preparation and execution of conferences and events are limited publications and promotion of events on campus for potential participants, the possibility of an insufficient number of participants when the event held, the lack of interaction between organizers and potential participants, and lack of coordination between the committee and campus facility providers. This research offers an implementation of the Campus Event Management Information System (SEMARAK) using the prototyping method as a solution. This research methodology starts with capture, convert, coordinate, deliver, and reporting. The first stage of system development builds the ability to publish campus events, schedule campus activity dates, and organize campus facility management. The system is expected to reduce the obstacles that occur during the preparation and execution of events on campus.

Improving company performance is influenced by the work performance of the company's employees. To be able to keep employee performance high, it is necessary to have an employee data management system that could help the employee performance control process. In addition, employee data performance has the function and purpose of increasing the plus value of employees and aims as a consideration for the appointment and promotion of employees. Timeliness in the delivery of goods produced is also influenced by the performance of employees in the production and delivery of goods. This research was conducted at PT XYZ in the production section. Currently, the control of employee performance in the pres-shop is still carried out conventionally with manual recording in the logbook and is felt to be ineffective. This research applied research to design information systems that could manage employee performance data, information systems were designed using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method so that the development process could be completed quickly and according to user needs. The resulting information system had been able to make companies manage employee performance data quickly, precisely, and accurately so that good employee performance could be maintained and poor employee performance could be improved.

Digital contents are incrementing at an exceptional pace. The world has never been the same again since the explosion of the Internet gateway. People accessing and creating information at every corner of the world. The jobs that usually reserved to a technical person called ‘webmaster’ are no longer own that privileged. Anyone at any part of the world may create new content with just a single click. These inabilities of the organization to efficiently manage their digital content has led to the exploration of a new field in Information System (IS) research. Enterprise Content Management (ECM) is the strategies, tools, process and skills that enable the organization to manage their digital contents throughout its entire lifecycle. With the new challenges of cloud computing and big data, academics and practitioners argue about the relevancies of this field to sustain its existence for further studies. Is ECM a worthy discipline for further research? By answering this question, this paper aims to revitalizing and introduce new ideas to the ECM researchers and analysing the current state of ECM literature.
